Serge and Vera welcome you to Solas na Cruinne! This website revolves around our simple lives, our aims at becoming more eco-friendly and our ultimate goal of owning a self-sufficient organic farm.
We will post updates about our transformation from former corporate wage earners to hands-on, mindful members of the human community.
Here we’ll share photos, videos and reports from our exciting adventures in travel, crafting, self-development and the trials-and-errors of learning to simplify and to do for ourselves what we could so easily just pay someone else to do.
This journey is about making what we could buy, building what we could get others to build and growing what we could have shipped from Ecuador or Chile. It isn’t always easy and it isn’t always a success but it’s always a rewarding adventure.
We hope that, by seeing how we are bettering the quality of our own lives and walking more lightly on this Earth, others may be inspired to become more hands-on and simplify their own lives.
